Sorry boys, but Vans has a new line of women’s kicks that are designed by artists. This wearable artwork includes different styles from three artists - and more to come. The first shoe of the series was done by Keren Richter that launced on Sunday and it looks awesome! So cute!

It had a really big response and she is already working on a second design. Retail stores are expecting to be sold out by the end of the week. Keren will be touring Nordstrom stores with her shoes and doing signings of her work. Another artist, Kim Buzzelli, is going to be next to design a pair of Vans.

  • 3 Things That Made Me Laugh Today

1.Byron Crawford aka Bol basically kills it on the blogging tip. People hate him, which means he’s good. His post today about The Pack (responsible for summer hit “Vans”) is, as he would say, redonkulos. Check it, here.

2.Today’s runner up came to me via this music industry newsgroup I have no responsibility being in, but whatever, your boy holds his own. Anyway, check this music video produced, written & recorded by some 11 year old kid. Yes, another YouTube link.

    3. Lastly, while it didn’t make me spit up Pastor or anything, I found this website of ex-Harlem Globetrotter Spinny Johnson who came to my elementary school every year to tell us to not do drugs and believe in our dreams while spinning basketballs in every imaginable way…except that. Anyway, I think you sinners out there could learn something from him. www.SpinnyJohnson.com

My tall can is hollow meaning it’s time to go. Peas.
