I think Gawker hit the nail on the head with their recent article concerning John Edwards, his tryst with Rielle Hunter and their subsequent love child.

Gawker:
Prediction: Edwards admits to having made a terrible mistake in a moment of weakness last year, but assures everyone he was only visiting Hunter again because of the child, and out of a sense of duty and obligation. His name isn’t mentioned in a political context for another eight years, when he launches a third-party presidential campaign with running mate Gary Hart, on the strength of their joint reality show.
Joint reality show? Nice work. My question: How come Democratic Presidential hopefuls are so terrible at keeping their affairs secret?

Hearing all this BS about a Roger Clemens / Mindy McCready tryst amidst his defamation of character suit against former trainer McNamee, I realized that I have never sat down and watched a baseball game in a decade, and that I have never listened to one of Mindy McCready’s songs. So here’s to rectifying the latter.
Yeah… It’s fair to say that I like Nashville’s Pop Radio sensations as much as I like watching baseball. That is, this much:

Which I guess makes me Un-American. C’est la vie.

It’s becoming so common nowadays that when I hear news of a middle school or high school teacher having a relationship with one of their students, the only thing I want to know was how hot the teacher is. That’s all. Kelsey Peterson, for instance, is a 5.

Their correspondence, however, gets a solid 8:
Court documents showed authorities had recovered several e-mails and letters in which the two professed their affection for one another.
In letters, the boy called Peterson his “Baby Gurl,” and said their relationship was “just not about the sex but that it was pretty good,” according to court documents.
Court documents say Peterson’s school-issued laptop contained letters to the student, including one from April saying she loved him, thought he loved her, was “100 percent faithful” to him and would always be faithful.
