Starting Feb. 28th, Tilly and the Wall will hit the road for their first full US tour since 2006, bringing America some much needed joy. This time around, the group will have two more touring members in tow and will be premiering new material from a forthcoming album, which Tilly and the Wall begin recording in January with Saddle Creek guru Mike Mogis. The new album will be released on Conor Oberst’s Team Love label, though there is no release date set at this time. Tour dates after the jump.

  • The Sword Embark on US Tour

Maybe they hit the road a lot, but when you rock as hard as The Sword do, you’ve got no choice. America’s favorite metal band will be hitting the road starting this week, so if you live anywhere between Austin, TX and the east coast, get ready. And if you’re a pot dealer, this would be a good time to stock up.

West coast fans may feel snubbed (I do), but I’ve been reassured that west coast dates are soon to follow. Dates after the jump. (more…)

  • California is Stoked on Big Business

God bless them, I really hope we elect Big Business as President of the United States in 2008. I think they’re running under the Melt Your Fucking Face Big Business/Melvins ticket.
    POTUSA
When I see Big Business the only adjective I can think of is “presidential.”

Damn, I guess W really lowered the bar for that.
If you’re a Californian, you have 3 opportunities to check out Big Biz and Isis next week. Don’t blow it.

    Hey Interpals!

Been having some trouble with the Myspace show posting thing, they wouldn’t let us enter the venue for some reason.
    So for the record:

Sunday, November 18th–Isis and Big Business
    in San Francisco at
    SLIM’S
    333 Eleventh Street
    San Francisco, CA

Monday, November 19th–Isis and Big Business in
    San Luis Obispo, CA at
    DOWNTOWN BREW
    1119 Garden Street

    and finally
Tuesday, November 20th–Isis and Big Business
