Tomorrow night, Wednesday October 29th, residents of the Bay Area should be heading down to the Knockout for the Lower Class Revolt show featuring Rademacher, Light FM and Raised By Robots!
I’ve been listening to Devil In The Woods Records‘ Light FM (pictured above) pretty much all day in an effort to keep me focused on the article I’m penning on Lower Class Revolt (coming to synthesis.net soon), and Light FM’s dreamy, agitated guitar pop is helping to remind me that those folks have great taste in music (read: those people have my taste in music).
I kinda wish I didn’t live in bumblefuck Northern California, and instead, spent my days wearing the rubber off my Sauconys up and down the hills of glorious, gutter-pee smelling San Francisco. (Sorry, but for all the wonderment held in the capital of the left coast, the place is aromatic like a public bathroom installed outside of a methadone clinic.)

I’ve just been informed that Third Eye Blind, the San Francisco band responsible for writing a catchy song about meth addiction ten years ago and haven’t done anything notable since, have decided to tell Synthesis.net to piss off.

Here I was, ready to feign interest about them. Big loss.

Carlton Banks is actually a pretty cool guy. Eh does the Carlton dance and doesn’t afraid of anything.

Our homies in rock band Midnight to Twelve know what’s up with repping themselves on the interbutts: besides just Twittering religiously they are also going to start maintaining a video blog of their trials and tribulations right here on Synthesis.net! Below is the first episode, check it out, and stay tuned for other Midnight to Twelve shiz including an interview and a contest coming soon to synthesis.net.

I am master of ADM. Well, that is I am a novice who requires the help of a graphic designer and another editor, but hey, the bar for excellence ain’t what it used to be. Here, enjoy our interview with Mike Doughty on Synthesis.net.

I’m not going to bore you with the details of coming from an ethnic minority and trying to find its delicacies on short notice in a small town. With that said, trying to find a loaf of challah (bread) on Erev Rosh Hashanah (Jewish New Year’s Eve) in white bread-ass Chico is next to impossible.
Luckily for me we have both a food columnist and general “doer of stuff” in house, and both were willing to get on the phone and make some calls. It looked like a real news room in the Synthesis office for a second. “I need LEADS, people!”
Happy new year blogosphere.
