Snoop Dogg teamed up with Blackplanet to premiere his new anime movie yesterday.. so CHECK IT! Snoop Dogg presents The Adventures Of Tha Blue Carpet Treatment. The Doggfather takes a journey through the Southern California streets where he meets some interesting people; everything from crazy street people to running into some comedic situations. The straight to DVD film has a TON of awesome features like appearances from my personal favorite Katt Williams. Other animated videos include hip-hop icons like E-40, Nate Dogg, The Game and B-Real of Cypress Hill. 

It’s a psychedelic trip through Snoop’s magical mind. Soundtrack music includes songs from hip-hop legends and his multi-platinum album Tha Blue Carpet Treatment. Who would be better to go through the streets of Long Beach and grub out with besides the big Snoop D-O-double G?

Those of you with local ties, or even just those of you who dig weed and gangsta-ass lyricism, MUST have seen my award-winning blog about how Snoop Dogg rocked my building last night at the Senator Theatre. I didn’t end up going (read about why here…), but our newest photographer extraordinaire Aaron Seals did, and boy’s got talent. Peep this, crackers!

Well, not really…but he’ll be in my building. In just under eight hours, Snoop Dogg will be at the majestic Senator Theatre to smoke weed, be real smooth-like, and possibly even rap. It isn’t often that Chico is treated to acts that aren’t on the long slope downward, so it’s kind of a big deal, OKAY? Oh, you’re gonna judge me now? Awesome. Well, for your information, I LOVE Doggystyle. Not the position…the album. Er, wait. Whatever. Anyway, in other news, I also scalped my ticket for $100. Long live media guest lists!

Everyone’s favorite Showtime show, Weeds, comes back on June 16th! I’d plan the usual Weeds party (which totally does not include the consumption of marijuana…), but I’ll be getting my high from the Snoop Dogg concert here in our little town of Chico. I’ve always dreamed of going to a Snoop show. Remember in Old School when Vince Vaughn organized that FAT house party and Snoop Dogg shows up on stage outta nowhere? That shit is my fantasy!

Then again, so is growing hella weed and making serious cash off of it, making my kids sell drugs, and artfully dodging all the trouble that’s thrown at me. I’ll DVR the new episode fer sher…

When we last left off, all of Agrestic was up in flames because the Mexicans had taken revenge on the biker dudes’ marijuana field (because they beat up Nancy’s oldest son since Nancy wouldn’t buy their schwaggy weed). Nancy had just gone back to her house to pour gasoline everywhere to ensure that it would burn down (probably to get insurance money?). The cops had found the hilariously huge stolen cross from the church which ended up becoming the grow-light for Nancy and Conrad’s crops that weren’t ready for harvesting (thus she had to go to the schwaggy shady biker dudes). So, naturally, when the cops went to check out where the cross was, they found all the weed. The house was in Sullivan’s name, who claims to know nothing and blames Celia (Nancy’s partner by force) who blames Nancy. But Nancy already GTFO and the preview to the new 4th season shows her setting up shop with Guillermo near the San Diego / Mexico border. New, shadier deals are going to go down (uh, hello, cocaine) and Nancy will no doubt be hooking up with dreamy-ass Guillermo. Um, YUM! <333 Cannot wait.

I just really like this new single, “Life of Da Party,” by Snoop Dogg, Mistah FAB and Too Short. I especially like how they’re combining Northern and Southern Cali so the Nor-Cal/So-Cal dispute can FINALLY be over. Thanks, Snoop. Yay Area.. Long Beach.. where you at?
