Actress Scarlett Johansson has taken to the music game with a May 20th release date of her debut album Anywhere I Lay My Head. Her first video, for the track “Falling Down,” has been met with yawns and surly criticism, but I’m fairly sure that she could fart on a snare drum and I’d listen to it. Wait, that was gross. Okay, if she were to have just a recording of her breathing and chewing on food and belching, I would totally buy it. I’m not joking. In order to benefit Oxfam, Scarlett Johansson is auctioning off two tickets to the premier of her upcoming film He’s Just Not That Into You, which debuts June 2009. The person who wins the auction will receive the tickets, chauffeured car service to the event, hair and make for one by Prive and, most importantly, a meet and greet with Johansson herself. Sure, it’ll probably be just a fleeting encounter, but if you like to obsess over meaningless moments as much as I do, that won’t matter anyway. Now all I have to do is find a buyer for my spare kidney, and I’m set. The good news is 100 percent of the proceeds from the charity auction will go straight to Oxfam.
