Baseball player Corey Hart was elected for an All-Star bid. During the press conference, Hart’s Milwaukee Brewers teammates couldn’t wait to congratulate him. Hart had his two-year-old daughter on his lap during the conference when his teammates ran into the room spraying beers all over them. His daughter was fine after getting a popsicle and forgetting all about it but now there is a major media backlash. Judge for yourself, here’s the video:

Tom Waits apparently held a “press conference” the other day regarding an upcoming tour by answering questions emitting from a record player in a room full of empty chairs. All that could be made from the announcements was an acronym using the first letter of each city on the excursion: “PEHDTSCKJMBA.” I’m going to guess that the first stop is Petaluma, but who knows—Tom Waits can pretty much do whatever he wants anyhow.

Republican Senator David Vitter joined the “I banged a prostitute” club, which is gaining membership like crazy. After standing next to his pissed off wife with his tail between his legs Vitter tried to get the hell out of the press conference. But this doesn’t really work out for him. I think he was more concerned about the hooker in the trunk of the car than backing up.

According to a source inside his Administration, Eliot Spitzer has admitted to being involved in a prostitution ring. There is a press conference happening today, which will no doubt provide many lulz:

Just last week, federal prosecutors arrested four people in connection with an expensive prostitution operation. Administration officials would not say that this was the ring with which the governor had become involved. But a person with knowledge of the governor’s role said that the person believes the governor is one of the men identified as clients in court papers. Mr. Spitzer, a first term Democrat who pledged to bring ethics reform an end the often seamy ways of Albany, is married with three children.
