Upon first glance, I wasn’t really feelin’ this chair. I thought, “Oh legs on a chair, not a very original idea.” But then I looked at the legs and realized that there was something naughty about it. Something is definitely going on above the knees. THEN, I thought how cool it would be to have an erotic photoshoot with this chair. And I’m sold!

Scott Gauthier has been in business since 1989, but has never made a mens line of jewelry until now. I’d say he hit the nail on the head from the get-go. It’s certainly better than the line that Pharrell and Camille Miceli created for Louis Vuitton. Each piece is over a $1,000 with the exception of a couple and the mens line features everything from rings to bracelets, from belt buckles to shirt studs. We recently interviewd Dr. Matt Destruction, the mustachioed bassist of The Hives. Their latest album, the Black And White Album, is my favorite from them yet, probably owing to its musical diversity (within the spectrum of garage rock, anyway). Dr. Matt was cool, and even through a series of bad connections and a mild language barrier (I had to explain what a pinky toe is, for example) we managed to get the goods out of him.
