22-year-old Wisconsin grocery clerk Jake Brahm will spend six months in federal prison for starting a terrorist hoax. Brahm began and circulated the Internet rumor that seven NFL stadiums would be hit with “dirty” bombs on October 22, 2006, and claimed that Osama Bin Laden would hail the bombings as the “American Hiroshima.” The rumors resulted in heightened security for each stadium, which Brahm will be paying to the tune of $26 grand on top of his six months in the clink.

I realize Rush limbaugh will say anything to keep people like me irritated enough to blog about it. But does he even live on this Planet anymore?. In his failing effort to link the Democratic party with terrorism and fascism, Rush has discovered that the Democrats are using talking points from Iran and Osama bin Laden. This of course using his is journalism skills and his fact finding team (uhh..) Oh Rush, I just want to rub your belly.

Rush Limbaugh claimed that “the Islamofascists are actually campaigning for the election of Democrats” and that “Islamofascists from [Iranian President Mahmoud] Ahmadinejad to [Ayman] al-Zawahiri … Osama bin Laden, whoever, are constantly issuing Democrat talking points.” Limbaugh previously asserted that Ahmadinejad’s May 2006 letter to President Bush contained “Democratic talking points.”

So 6 years after 9/11, Osama Bin Laden is still kicking back, serving up hella vidz about how much America sucks and Allah rules. You can check out a transcript of his newest clip here. Alongside the usual rhetoric about wars and Islam and whatever, were a few interesting asides, proving once again how wacky and wild of a guy old Bin Laden really is. These include:

Giving a shout out to Noam Chomsky as “among one of the most capable of those from your own side.”

Referring to “the reeling of many of you under the burden of interest-related debts, insane taxes and real estate mortgages; global warming and its woes…”

And offering new tactic for marketing Islam, “There are no taxes in Islam, but rather there is a limited Zakaat [alms] totaling 2.5 percent.” Damn. Maybe Republicans should vote for Bin Laden…
