Electro-punk rockers Mindless Self Indulgence have stormed out the gate with their latest album If. They have now two top-selling singles from the album. Check it:

NYC electro/punk band, MINDLESS SELF INDULGENCE, tops the Billboard Hot Singles chart with songs at both top positions as “Pay For It” and “On It” debut at #1 and #2, respectively. This is MSI’s second #1 selling single from the album, ‘IF’. The first, “Never Wanted To Dance,” was released in April of this year and shot to the top of the chart. Having two songs at #1 and #2 at the same time hasn’t been done since Bright Eyes accomplished it four years ago, when “Lua” and “Take it Easy (Leave Nothing)” hit #1 and #2, respectively. However, topping Bright Eyes, MSI also owns the #5 spot with “Issues.” Of course, this doesn’t compare with The Beatles accomplishment on April 4, 1964 when they occupied all five positions in the Top 5, but then again, they were The fucking Beatles!

This kind of shit isn’t really my cup of tea, but the kiddies love it, and it seems that’s all that really matters right? All press is good press, yada yada yada.
