LMFAO - “I’m In Miami Bitch”

Here’s a bit of stupid fun for ya. Get yr drink on.

Just signed to Interscope. They can buy me a soda.

New Ed Hardy Collection

Ed Hardy introduced his new 2009 Swimwear Collection during the Mercedes-Benz fashion week and they’re gorgeous!

The event took place in Miami, Florida - the perfect city to display sexy bikinis.

I LOVE every single suit I saw on the runway. Hardy should have been designing swimwear years ago. The colors are really fun and his unique designs still stand out on the suits. I want one, now!

  • Divorce Ain’t Always So Bad

While the process of divorce is hard on both man, woman and child alike, there are certain circumstances to which the whole situation isn’t all that bad.

Take Cynthia Rodriguez for example, the soon to be ex-wife of MLB superstar Alex Rodriguez. She filed for divorce today in Miami, seeking primary custody of the kids as well as alimony. Now considering that A-Rod will be making well over $20 million a year for the next decade or so, I would say that Cynthia has played the cards just right on her wife-cheating, money-grubbing husband.

  • The “Brown Note” is an infamous sonic weapon used on unruly crowds. Said weapon causes distress to the equilibrium, resulting in uncontrollable bowel movements. Mark Cohen, founder of re-Create 68, is worried that such tactics may be used at the Democratic National Convention in Denver.

“I think these weapons were mostly intended for military use and so their use for dealing with innocent protesters seems highly inappropriate,” he said. “The idea that they might be field testing them on people who are doing nothing more than exercising their first amendment rights is disturbing.”

Brown Note was reportedly used in 2003 at free-trade agreement protests in Miami (a scene of which is pictured above). The whole concept is strange to me. I have a hard time believing that the Democratic Convention will turn into some sort of riot, especially considering that the party now has a candidate. But then again, I wouldn’t put anything past a pack of angry law enforcement officers.

Though most of the music industry is detoxing from the four-day debauchery of SXSW, those 24-hour party people of the hip-hop/electronica/dance persuasions are gearing up for another round of getting day-wasted and partying until the sun comes up. The 2008 Winter Music Conference will be held March 25th through 29th in the disgustingly well-dressed and tanned city of Miami, FL. If you’ll be attending, be sure to check out the Stones Throw/Anthem Pool Party at the Raleigh Hotel from 1PM to 10PM on Saturday, March 29th. Madlib, Peanut Butter Wolf, A-Trak, DJ Mehdi, Egon, James Pants, Karriem Riggins, Baron Zen and Dam-Funk will all perform DJ Sets.
