Jimi Hendrix’s famous stage act of dousing his guitar with lighter fluid and burning it on stage are some of the most memorable moments in music history. One of his favorite guitars, a 1965 Fender Strat, set on fire in London more than 40 years ago is going to be up for auction in September by the Fame Bureau in London.

The guitar was said to be lost forever after the London performance at Finsbury Astoria in March of 1967. After Hendrix lit the guitar at this show he had to be rushed to the hospital for burns. The guitar is partly damaged on the neck and the pickboard but was recovered. A man, Tony Garland, had the guitar stored in his parents’ garage and his nephew found it last year.

It has an estimated worth of $1 million. Jim Morrison’s, Doors frontman, last poem book will also be auctioned. If you have a pile of money laying around that would be some amazing memorabilia to have!

  • Amy Winehouse showed up at her husbands court date rocking some serious pizza face. Someone needs to get her some fucking Proactiv or just get her to stop smoking crack for an hour or two:

Not one for arriving on time to visit her husband in prison, Amy Winehouse today spent more than an hour in court supporting her husband who faces charges of assault and conspiracy to pervert the course of justice.

The troubled star sat in the front row of the public gallery as Snaresbrook Crown Court, east London, and smiled lovingly at Blake Fielder-Civil, who smiled back at her from the dock.

Winehouse wore a short blue spotted dress in a clear effort to look smart for her husband’s trial, but the classy clothes failed to hide her alarmingly bad skin.

The singer’s ragged appearance shocked onlookers as she arrived at court.

Really though? Her appearance “shocked onlookers”? Maybe they never saw this:

    Or this:

In fact, we have exclusive images of Amy Winehouse without her makeup. Check it out:

I mean, I’m not saying I wouldn’t hit that shit, but you know…..

  • You know what would be really great? If Amy Winehouse could finally get in the news for doing something fucking stupid like getting arrested.

    OH WAIT! NEVER MIND!

    From Associated Press:

LONDON - Amy Winehouse was arrested on suspicion of assault Friday following reports that she scuffled with two men during a wild night out, Sky News television reported.

The 24-year-old soul diva, who recently entered rehab after years of erratic behavior and canceled concerts, arrived at a central London police station to answer questions relating to the alleged incident, her representatives said.

Police didn’t directly confirm that Winehouse was in custody, saying only that a 24-year-old woman was being held on suspicion of assault. British authorities don’t usually name suspects until they have been charged.

Winehouse didn’t say anything to assembled photographers and cameramen as she walked into the station late Friday afternoon.

    Anyone else completely over it?
