Ah, MTV’s 2007 Music Video Awards. Can you say RAPTURE?

September 9th, 2007: Hundreds of thousands will turn in to MTV’s Video Music Awards, which for one night only, will out-glitz the gaudy umbrage that occurs every day in the Las Vegas Palms Casino Resort.

MTV + Las Vegas = A match vomited in heaven.

Actually, it looks like a pretty noteworthy lineup this year:
Lil Wayne. Nelly Furtado. Common. Gym Class Heroes. T-Pain. Cee-Lo (Gnarles Barkley). Daniel Merriweather. Kanye West. Timbaland. Fall Out Boy. Amy Winehouse. Chris Brown. The Foo Fighters. Rihanna.

All the same, if I’m watching TV on September 9th, I’m watching the season premier of Curb Your Enthusiasm: The most uncomfortable and hilarious half-hour on television. Period.
