Sons & Daughters

I know 2008 hasn’t learned how to crawl yet, but Sons & Daughters’ This Gift is already one of my favorite albums of the year (so far). It doesn’t have the country shuffle of their last album; instead it’s more of a ballsy new wave rocker, and it sounds pretty sweet. Below is the first video from the album for the song “Gilt Complex.” And if anyone wants to get me frontwoman Adele Bethel as a belated Christmas gift, that’d be great. Thanks.
