Things are getting a little heated in Second Life, that virtual reality online game that people with nothing better to do play obsessively, and it’s making waves in the real-world judicial system. Robert Leatherwood of Texas (better known as “Volkov Cattaneo” in “Second Life”) was accused of stealing “virtual sex toys” that allowed Second Lifers to equip themselves with peepees among other things. Apparently there’s a company called Eros in Tampa Bay-region that writes the scripts for Second Life genitalia, owned by Kevin Alderman (Second Life avatar “Stroker Serpentine”), which is whom Leatherwood was accused of stealing from. The case was settled with no cash exchanged, just the email addresses of anyone who had connection with Volkov Cattaneo and the bitter taste of being pwned by virtual pr0n.
