Missouri and Their Laziness

It has been almost 2 weeks since election night and since the late evening of November 4th we knew the 44th president of the United States was going to Barack Obama. However, Missouri is a little slow at counting things apparently. With a shade over 6,000 votes yet to be counted no definite winner has been announced. What the hell is going on in that state? It’s not a big deal by any means since their 11 electoral votes will have 0 impact on the outcome of the election since McCain got his ass beat so bad. It just blows my mind that these people can’t count some ballots in a reasonable time frame. I bet Nelly and the St. Lunatics could have counted the votes in a faster time frame. To sum up a very short point, it would blow to be associated with Missouri in any way, shape or form due to their insanely high incompetence. This is a gross exaggeration of course, but I still have a feeling it would be shitty to live in Missouri regardless of if they can count or not.

Here’s a few really smart people from Ohio and their take on Barack Obama.

    Early Voting Results Trickling In

I’m pretty burnt out on election season. It’s just about time to ditch our 900 daily Sarah Palin porn blogs and get back to the usual rat race of posting other obscenities. Oh well, just gotta stick with it I guess…

In political news, Michael McDonald, a top political elections expert, has posted the early results of some early voting records. There’s really not much on there at the moment, but with updates coming soon I think we’ll start to get a good feel for how Nov. 4th is going to turn out.

Check out his detailed chart HERE.

Personally, early voting worries me. As Salon.com writer Alex Koppelman put it,

“[How would you feel if] your kid was competing in a piano recital or figure skating contest and you learned that judges voted one minute before each performance had finished, would you rush down to the scoring table, after your kid finished second to another kid who flubbed during the final minute, to applaud such referees and policies?”

This shit is getting heated, and who knows whats going to pop up. What happens if McCain’s heart goes down and he’s rushed to the hospital, causing voters to change their minds due to his health and age? What if Obama gets hot under the collar and screams ‘Fuck Whitey!’? There’s still a long road to travel until election day, and you have to push through all 4 quarters to win the game.

Democratic presidential nominee Barack Obama spent a Missouri Monday defending his patriotism, in light of recent attacks.

“At certain times over the last 16 months, I have found, for the first time, my patriotism challenged — at times as a result of my own carelessness, more often as a result of the desire by some to score political points and raise fears and doubts about who I am and what I stand for.”

Obama has taken a decent bit of rapping on his patriotism in general, stemming from an incident where he didn’t wear a flag pin, as well as from allegations that he doesn’t say the pledge of allegiance.

No flag pin?! RELEASE THE FUCKING HOUNDS!
