Weezer’s going on tour to celebrate their kinda-still-shiny-new album which people are just calling The Red Album because it’s quite plainly red in color. Opening for Weezer’s tour are Angels and Airwaves and Tokyo Police Club. Tokyo Police Club were the only thing that kept me in this one stupid bar in Austin during SXSW. They were awesome. The two bartenders upping the price of my drink every time I ordered were not. Synthesis has a ton of Angels and Airwaves content. Like this interview with Videomatt. And another interview in the free MacBeth Ditigal Mag. And now, I give you Weezer Tour Dates:

In case you couldn’t tell from the entire Digital Magazine we dedicated to his various creative pursuits, we here at Synthesis have a giant boner for Tom DeLonge, frontman for Angels and Airwaves and formerly Blink-182. Our most recent stroking comes courtesy of Video Matt who caught up with Tom and his bandmate Matt Wachter at the San Francisco date of the Warped Tour. If I don’t get some free Macbeth shoes pretty soon I’m gonna be pissed. Size 10.5. Make it happen.

Has anyone else noticed the banner ads floating around this site repping the Synthesis Digital Magazine? Well, it turns out that if you click on it, or right HERE for that matter, you get to actually download this sweet ass digital zine, complete with embedded audio and video. How the hell did we manage to do that? Magic. Mother f**king Magic.
Enjoy.

On Friday night, the La Paloma Theatre in Encinitas saw the biggest athletes and brands in action sports unite to raise money for poor African farmers. Autographed guitars, surf boards, skate decks, one-of-a-kind prints, concert tickets, organic catering and private surf lessons from surf pros were just a few of the many items donated by the industry for the benefit of Heifer International. Athletes such as Danny Way, Timmy Curran, Pat Duffy, Cory Duffle and many others also donated their time by signing autographs for eager groms waiting in line to see Curran and Escalera perform live as well as see the never disappointing antics of Chris Cote from Transworld with the help of David Kennedy of Angels And Airwaves. By the end of the night, the small 400 person venue raised nearly $10,000 for charity, which is the equivalent of purchasing about 20 cows for those in need on the other side of the world.
