Biologist, professor and blogger PZ Myers was expelled from a Minnesota theater while trying to attend a screening of the forthcoming pro-intelligent design documentary titled Expelled: No Intelligence Allowed featuring Mr. Monotone himself Ben Stein. Myers described his experience as follows:

I went to attend a screening of the creationist propaganda movie, Expelled, a few minutes ago. Well, I tried … but I was Expelled! It was kind of weird — I was standing in line, hadn’t even gotten to the point where I had to sign in and show ID, and a policeman pulled me out of line and told me I could not go in. I asked why, of course, and he said that a producer of the film had specifically instructed him that I was not to be allowed to attend. The officer also told me that if I tried to go in, I would be arrested. I assured him that I wasn’t going to cause any trouble.

I went back to my family and talked with them for a while, and then the officer came back with a theater manager, and I was told that not only wasn’t I allowed in, but I had to leave the premises immediately. Like right that instant.” Scienceblogs.com

So what’s the big deal? Well for one Myers is in the film he was trying to attend. He and other dissenting scientists (including notorious evolutionary biologist Richard Dawkins) were interviewed in the film to present the perspective of “Big Science.” Call me crazy but if I was interviewed for a film that promotes a doctrine I disagree with, I’d be curious to see just how piecemeal the footage they shot of me is, and Myers apparently is no different. Unfortunately for him, he appears to have been misled from the beginning out the films intentions.

After digging a little deeper I discovered that Myers was originally told the film would be titled “Crossroads: The Intersection of Science and Religion,” seemingly a fair and balanced evaluation of both perspectives. Then, according to Myers blog, he found himself featured in a press release for a separate film titled Expelled, under a different production company, Premise Media, but with the same producer, Mark Mathis, that had arranged his previous interview. Sound a little fishy? Well it is. Myers is not alone. Many other scientists had the same encounter and you can read about them here. Mathis claims that Crossroads was a working title for the film, but domain name registration dates say otherwise.

Should any of this really be surprising? Not really. Take a trip over to expelledexposed.com and you’ll read plenty of reviews that paint a picture of the film more akin to religious propaganda than scientific debate.

Faux News host Sean Hannity is just another member of the Fox hate machine. At first I honored his right to speak about his warped view of the world, realizing a logical person simply will brush him off as just another talking head. But what scares me now about Hannity and Fox, is an underlining hate or mis-representation of anyone that is not white or Male. Of course the easiest response to me is that I only see this because I’m a crazy liberal, but the truth is I’m a concerned Jewish American who can see a trend and a series of facts with Fox. It’s obvious that Fox and Hannity are no more than a propaganda machine designed to incite past racial hatred and unrest, this in a time when were ready to overcome such things. One example, of many, is the recent revelation of Sean Hannitys hate connection. Hannity has denied his affiliation with neo/nazi and white supremacists Hal Turner. But Turner describes it differently, Hal used to call Hannitys radio show and they began an on air and eventually an off air relationship. Turner writes

I was quite disappointed when Sean Hannity at first tried to say he didn’t know me and then went on to say that I ran some senate campaign in New Jersey. In fact, Sean Hannity does know me and we were quite friendly a number of years ago.…When Hannity took over Bob Grant’s spot on 77 WABC in New York City, I was a well-known, regular and welcome caller to his show. Through those calls, Sean and I got to know each other a bit and at some point, I can’t remember exactly when, Sean gave me the secret “Guest call-in number” at WABC so that my calls could always get on the air.

When I utlized that call-in number, Sean would very often come onto that line during commercial breaks so we could chat before I went on the air. Our off-the-air chats grew to an exchange of other phone numbers, me giving Sean my home and cellular number and Sean giving me his direct dial-in number at Fox News channel.

In 1993, My wife got pregnant and around a month later, Sean reported that he and his wife were expecting their first child. We got to talking about things expectant dads talk about and the relationship grew.

…Over the course of the next three or four years, Sean and I spoke regularly off the air about our kids, politics and news of the day. My on-air calls to his show remained regular and welcome

Two racists in a pod

Turners views and hate are beyond my tolerance, and I encourage you to read his blog for yourself . If Hannity and others want to practice their racism they should not have a forum to do so. They can say anything they want and affiliate themselves with any kind of hate group on their own time with no forum. Not on a channel that has the tittle of “news”.

Randi Rhodes Attacked?

suicide is slow with liquor
It was reported last night that Randy Rhodes, the guitarist widely thought responsible for re-launching Ozzy Osbourne’s post-Black Sabbath musical career, was attacked in New York city near 39th Street and Park Avenue. In addition to his noted career as a heavy metal guitar virtuoso, Rhodes, who died in a plane crash in 1982, was an avid classical guitarist….

wine is fine but whiskey's quicker

It was reported last night that Randi Rhodes, talk show host on progressive radio station Air America, was attacked in New York city near 39th Street and Park Avenue while walking her dog…

Damn, blog-journalism is hard. Looks like Randi Rhodes’ “attack” has been reduced to an “accident,” according to a post on Air America’s web site:

October 16-NEW YORK-On Sunday evening, October 14, Air America host Randi Rhodes experienced an unfortunate incident hindering her from hosting her show. The reports of a presumed hate crime are unfounded. Ms. Rhodes looks forward to being back on the air on Thursday.

…and of course, a Wikipedia post (which is ALWAYS A TOTALLY RELIABLE AND FACTUAL RESOURCE…)

On Sunday, October 14, 2007, Rhodes was walking her dog when she fell and sustained injuries that kept her off the air for several days. Air America host Jon Elliott erroneously claimed on his October 15 show that Rhodes had been the victim of a savage mugging. Elliott went on to speculate that this was not just a random event, but that it may have been politically motivated. [1] A lawyer for Rhodes subsequently confirmed that the incident was an accident and no crime had taken place. [2]

Now I don’t know what to believe… I’ve resorted to assuming this whole thing is just propaganda; a liberal plot to gain sympathy from weak minded fence-sitters in middle America… Hell with it, I’m just gonna find my Randy Rhodes Tribute cassette and tune the fuck outgoin off the rails

Apparently, the Denver International Airport is not just a big ass airport. Depending on who you ask, it’s also a centerpiece of Masonic plans for a new world order; the facade of a vast underground lair housing human slaves, a race of reptile overlords or an Ark-like safe haven for the chosen few to be used during the forthcoming apocalypse; or just another purposely cryptic propaganda tool used to divert people’s attention from more mundane, but no less terrifying, corporate/government schemes. All things being equal, I’m gonna pull for the Reptile Overlords one. Anyway, you should watch this video, to learn more about the seemingly bizarre things cracking at DIA:

Not everyone’s convinced though. And, I’ll admit, some of that shit sounds zany. But even the biggest skeptic has to admit that some of the shit at Denver International is a little bizarre. Such as:

    capstone.jpg

The Masonic Capstone in the airport’s “Great Hall” (a term also used by Masons to reference their lodges) that was dedicated by the New World Airports Commission, and features some supremely alienesque artwork

    capstone2.jpg

As shown in depth in the video above, some of the artwork at the airport is a little on the “dark” side, showing among other things, a gas masked, “Nazi” type soldier standing in the foreground of a destroyed, burning city surrounded by women holding dead babies

    nazidude.jpg

Dead children in coffins, including a Jewish girl with a star of David on her chest, holding a bible and shamrocks

And even Quetzalcoatl makes a surprise appearance. 2012 anyone? Someone call Daniel Pinchbeck ASAP
