After suffering a “mild” heart attack, American actor Kelsey Grammer is recovering in an undisclosed hospital in Hawaii. Grammer, most beloved for his recurring role as Sideshow Bob in The Simpsons television show (and, you know, that whole Cheers and Frasier thing that never really took off…), aged 53, owns property on the island of Kona with his wife Camille. According to AP, Grammer’s spokesman says the television and film star suffered a mild heart attack while paddle boarding on Saturday and will be released early this week, adding “there’s no reason to be blue.”

Amy Winehouse is back in the headlines, but this time it’s nothing too scandalous, although it probably has the head honchos at Island Records pulling their hair out. Wino was set to take a trip to the Bahamas to begin recording her follow up LP to Back In Black with famed producer Saleem Remi, but backed out at the last second, according to The Sun:

“It was a very expensive trip and it was hoped they would make some decent progress recording the album. But Amy pulled out at the last minute.

The album was planned for late 2008, but her label is now privately admitting it’s unlikely to happen until 2009” The Sun.

In other news, Amy Winehouse has also reportedly developed a new addiction, ironing. The instinctively addicted Wino apparently can’t stop ironing anything she can get her hands on, smoothing out everything from towels to scarves and sheets. I guess we should be thankful that this time around Wino can get her fix without the use of white-lines, prison or needles.

With so much time off between tours I have to find activates that keep me busy and keep me from spending tons of money, and what better free thing is out there besides TV? I’m pretty much up to date on all the hip shows everyone is talking about except for one. Lost. I finished the first two seasons while the third was being aired and I’ll be honest, I am addicted but very frustrated, so I’ve waited this long to watch the third season. And after finally sitting down and watching it, I’m still frustrated, why the hell can’t they toss us a bone here and explain something, anything. I don’t know how much longer I can keep putting myself through this agonizing cycle, hoping that maybe next week they’ll show us some insight into what the hell is happening on this damn island. I guess I’ll have to tune on the 31st and hope I get some answers.

A source told the New York Daily News newspaper: “He wanted big, big money from the owners Universal Music and that was way out of sync with the realities of today’s record business. “L.A. Reid, the Chief Executive Officer of Island/ Def Jam Records, and his boss Doug Morris have found Jay-Z’s demands excessive in light of the amount of time he’s spent on tour. “Everyone knows he’s not around the office much. Everyone at Universal loves him, but they just can’t justify paying him the money he wants when so many people have to be laid off.”
