4AD, record label of re-formed post-punk legends the Pixies, will be celebrating its 25th anniversary in November with a series of concerts in London, England, beginning on Nov. 17th. If you’re in the UK or will be visiting, these shows are not to be missed. The concerts listed below will coincide with the release of 1980 Forward, a compilation that gives a sampling of the label’s rich musical history, due in US stores on Nov. 22nd. Other celebratory releases will include a four-CD set from the Cocteau Twins and a release from 4AD founder Ivo Watts-Russel under the monicker Hope Blister–both also to be released Nov. 22nd. (more…)
