I didn’t like At the Drive-In. The Mars Volta makes me ill most of the time, and Sparta puts me to sleep. So, when I went to go see Jim Ward at this year’s SXSW with his new band Sleepercar, I wasn’t too brimming with anticipation. I ended up being very pleasantly surprised, and as it turns out, Jim’s a pretty cool guy. Sleepercar’s debut West Texas is due out on this coming Tuesday, April 22nd. If you like his aforementioned three bands, you might not be too stoked. But if you’re not just into style-core and have a soft spot for dusty rock ‘n’ roll/Americana, it might be the thing for you. Jim and co. will play the Tonight Show on May 2nd before heading out on a tour of North America (mostly Canada) starting May 12th. Check out a full list of dates after the jump, and watch this video interview conducted by the disembodied voice of Synthesis editor Ryan Prado that took place before the Sleepercar show at SXSW.

  • Actress (kinda) Tricia Walsh-Smith lost her marbles and decided that the best way to divorce her baller husband was to post a youtube video explaining what a dick he was.

Some prominent New York divorce lawyers couldn’t think of another case where a spouse — in this instance, the wife of a major Broadway theater operator — had taken to YouTube to spill the secrets of a marriage in an apparent effort to gain leverage and humiliate the other side.

Did I mention she is absolutely insane?.

This just in from CNNNN, a captivating breakthrough in genetics where homosexual scientists have isolated a gene that can render people Christian! Watch the video below for more details…

  • Heidi Montag Freestyle on TRL

Heidi Montag was on TRL yesterday with Nelly and some dude that was sitting on his couch with a hand held camera decided to tape it. The quality isn’t great (cinematography wise) but the content is simply amazing. Our favorite Hills character Montag attempted to freestyle and it truly shows the depth of just how bad she actually sucks. Plus, I have a theory that she was actually created in a lab and is an no talent assclown cyborg from the future.
