Of course, after posting Penis Panic, EJ informed me of this wonderful piece of musical genius by “Riskay The Drama Queen”.

Two videos: The first, a scene from Boogie Nights showcasing the musical talents of Dirk Diggler and Reed Rothchild. The second, the Rick James/Eddie Murphy production, “Party All The Time.” One was supposed to be a joke, one was not. If you’ve got an extra ten minutes or so, I would recommend contrasting and comparing.

Last night at the San Jose Arena, aka The Shark Tank, our beloved hockey team sent the Calgary Flames packing with a big time Game 7 victory. Why was it so big? Because the Sharks have been playoff underachievers for quite some time now. They’ve had Stanley Cup dreams several times entering the post-season, and have always managed to be one of those squads that just can’t quite get it done, ala the Dallas Mavericks or Phoenix Suns in the NBA.

If the Sharks had been defeated last night against Calgary, it is my contention that the team would have suffered dearly next season, simply by tacking on yet another year of failed glory. The well will always run dry of hope after a long enough period of blown chances. I’m not saying that the Sharks are now definitely headed to the Cup; it’s just a damn good thing they didn’t fuck that series up, being the 2 seed and all.

Favorite moments of the matchup would have to be the Game 4 comeback, and then Jeremy Roenick’s go-ahead wrister last night. But really, it’s all about San Jose announcer Randy Hahn’s Game 4 call of the Sharks second and third goals. If you don’t want to watch this entire clip, just shoot forward to 1:15 for first class sports broadcasting.

A new study by the always reliable Shuttleworth Research Center found that the majority of male roommates ages 18-24 got wasted off their asses the previous evening. I do believe the majority of this research was conducted in Chico, CA.

In the latest episode of Video Matt’s long-running YouTube saga Paramore Being Crazy, he catches up with the band at the Hard Rock Cafe in Sacramento and proves once again, that despite selling 28473739475 records, Paramore are still some fun-loving kids. Also worth checking out is the footage of the band’s set later that night at the Hard Rock, videos of which can be found on our YouTube channel. For the moment, the Howard Stern show has lost a member of the crew. Artie Lange, a contributing jockey since 2001, lost his cool of recent and walked off the show on air. Hard to say whether the walk off will stick, as many of Stern’s cohorts have had similar incidents over the years only to return at a later date. You can check the litany of Youtube clips here.
