Damon Albarn isn’t the only dude from Blur who hangs out with cartoons. Blur drummer Dave Rowntree will premier the animated series he co-created–Empire Square– on Fuse on Christmas Eve at midnight. The controversial series originally aired on Channel Four in the UK and will begin its regular run on Fuse in the new year starting Saturday, January 25th at 11pm. fuckface

    The Jam. For real.

Actor John Spencer, who won an Emmy award for playing chief of staff Leo McGarry on The West Wing, died Friday of a heart attack; he was 58. Spencer’s publicist, Ron Hoffman, said that Spencer died at a Los Angeles hospital, and no further details were available at press time. Services and funeral arrangements are currently pending. –Prepared by IMDb staff

Seriously, he was one of our finest actors, who seemed to have had a blast playing COS Leo McGarry on The West Wing (which I’d call one of the finest dramas in television history.) these past 7 years.

    He will be missed.

If you haven’t already, I strongly recommend you check out Season One and Season Two of The West Wing. They’re only $20 each on Amazon.
