Smarketing in Progress

If anyone has Tivo-ed and watched Saturday Night Live this year (I actually don’t own one, I just say Tivo because I don’t want anyone to know I’m a loser who stays home Saturday nights just to watch SNL), they know that this season of SNL is one of the best in quite a while. Even after firing a few key writers/actors (including Horatio Sanz) and losing their first ever female head writer to another show (Tina Fey) the show is picking up the pieces and doing a good job at reclaiming their legacy.

More exciting news has surfaced from SNL, according to Reuters, SNL’s Friday rehearsals may be webcasted soon!

  • Oh Kramer!

Michael Richards, beloved to many for his portrayal of Kramer on Seinfeld, will soon be joining Mel Gibson in that special place known as “Entertainment Career Purgatory.” ECP is a place where celebrities go after making racial slurs and getting caught for it. In this purgatory, they are still often spoken about, but can no longer get any work.

yeah. You're done in this town.

  • ‘Laguna’ cast as the villain in Laguna where the local city council is “blaming the show for everything from presenting local youths as rich brats to making the city a potential target for sex predators”… hmmmm - wonder where they’d get the idea that some of the local youth might be rich brats?
