One day, back in the 1950’s, Marilyn Monroe performed fellatio on an unidentifiable man… and captured the full 15 minutes on 16 mm film!!

The footage, which shows Marilyn Monroe on her knees pleasuring a man who’s face is never shown, was discovered 10 years later by Keya Morgan, who was doing research for a documentary. J. Edgar Hoover found out about it and tried to pin it on John F. Kennedy or Robert F. Kennedy. He was un-suck-cessful (ba da bum).

The FBI confiscated the original footage - but not before an informant made a copy of it, which is what was just sold by his son, Morgan said.

“She’s smiling, she’s very charming, she’s very radiant, but she’s known for being radiant,” he said. “She moves away, and then it [the footage] stops.”

Monroe never directly looks into the camera, but she had to have known it was there as cameras in the 1950’s were noisy and bulky.

Joe DiMaggio was said to have offered $25,000 (according to declassified information), but today the film sold for $1.5 million to a wealthy New Yorker. Fortunately for Monroe, he has decided not to share it with anyone else.

“He said he’s just going to lock it up,” Morgan said.

“He said, ‘I’m not going to make a Paris Hilton out of her. I’m not going to sell it, out of respect.’

There are still good people in the world.

This years NME awards (which is on April 23) will reunite Janes Addiction for one night at the El Rey Theater in Los Angeles. The band will also receive the coveted Godlike Genius Award.
It’s still unclear whether original bassist Eric Avery or replacement Chris Chaney will play but Perry Farrell, Dave Navarro and drummer Stephen Perkins are all confirmed.

    According to NME:

Jane’s Addiction are joining the likes of The Clash, New Order, Primal Scream and Manic Street Preachers, who are among the acts to have picked up the Godlike Genius prize at the UK awards.

NME has decided to give the band the award this year – the first time the awards are being held in the US – to recognise the fact that Jane’s Addiction have done more than any other band to introduce American alternative music to the mainstream, founding the touring Lollapalooza Festival and giving what frontman Perry Farrell refers to as the “alternative nation” a real cultural focus and voice.

How much more elitist can one get? I guess if you’re facing the apocalypse, might as well do it in style: “Thanks, Gucci! You saved my life!”

I posted news of Lil Jon’s winery a few days ago, but since then the winery’s website has been brought to my attention, giving the brand a mysterious and esoteric image.

“My full name is Jonathan,” Jon, whose last name is Smith, told the Associated Press Thursday. “The wine is more nature—I wanted to not just have a direct connection, but make it just a little bit more upscale than regular ‘Lil Jon.’”

Hills star / spawn of Satan / Hollywood star Heidi Montag told Us Weekly “I’m voting for John McCain, I’m a Republican and McCain has a lot of experience.” Montag then minimized her endorsement and refered to herself in the third person saying “I don’t think anyone cares who Heidi Montag votes for.”

In what might possibily be scarer news John McCain admits to Time magazine that he watches The Hills: “I’m honored to have Heidi’s support and I want to assure her that I never miss an episode of ‘The Hills,’ especially since the new season started”. He also added “she’s a very talented actress” which defies all logic and makes me start to think that the early stages of senility have kicked in.

Hopefully no one will tell her that you actually have to register to vote before you can actually vote.

The LA Times ran a cover story back on March 17th that turned out was total bullshit.

It’s not everyday that one of the biggest newspapers in America fucks up (or it’s not everyday that one of the biggest newspapers in America admits it fucked up). In addition to the retraction the LA Times will send Puffy some candy, flowers, and a card. In exchange I’m thinking the LA Times will get a big fat libel lawsuit and Puffy will again get paid.

    From the LA Times piece:

An article and related materials published on the Los Angeles Times website on March 17 have been removed from the site because they relied heavily on information that The Times no longer believes to be credible.

The article, titled “An Attack on Tupac Shakur Launched a Hip-Hop War” and written by Times staff writer Chuck Philips, purported to relate “new” information about a 1994 assault on rap star Tupac Shakur, including a description of events contained in FBI reports.

The Times has since concluded that the FBI reports were fabricated and that some of the other sources relied on — including the person Philips previously believed to be the “confidential source” cited in the FBI reports — do not support major elements of the story.
