Yesterday some friends and I were talking and they referenced “Ras Trent,” and since I don’t watch much TV (except what’s on Hulu.com) I had no idea what they were talking about. After failing to find it on YouTube and mentioning that they didn’t know of a real iPhone app to watch Hulu, I decided to look it up today. And instead of just watching it and (hopefully) laughing, I decided to share the video on this blog (courtesy of Hulu.)

I am now in the loop. And it turns out I know 20 of this guy.

Well I’ll be damned! Manny Ramirez now officially joins the lowly ranks of Barry Bonds, Mark MacGwire, Rafael Palmeiro, Roger Clemens, etc, etc, etc… This morning MLB announced that Ramirez had tested positive for a banned substance, which Ramirez reports he took unknowingly due to a recent personal health medication he had prescribed by a doctor.

Bull! This is the same guy who once skipped out on spring training for “family reasons” only to be found at a muscle car auction in Atlantic City. Ramirez is a cheat just like the rest of ‘em! And you know what’s best of all? All of those dumb shit Giant fans who until this moment bitched and moaned about the team not making the push to sign Manny’s dramatic ass last offseason can officially eat crow. Can you imagine what it would have felt like for us to absorb this bombshell after 15 years of Barry Bonds??

LOS ANGELES (AP) Actor, comedian and chef Dom DeLuise has died. He appeared in scores of movies and TV shows and in Broadway plays, and voiced characters for cartoon shows. He also authored two cookbooks. His son says he died in his sleep after a long illness. Dom DeLuise was 75.

While his IMDB profile credits 117 acting credits, I am having a tough time of recalling exactly what he did, save being one of Mel Brooks’ go-to guys and, what, wasn’t he the center square in Hollywood Squares for a hot minute? OH FUCK< Smoky and the Bandit II, Cannonball Run AND Cannonball Run II.

I am envisioning a Dom Deluise party after work. Time to dust off the fondue kit.
