Aw man, I hate Von Dutch. I think it's so generic and ugly looking. Why would I wanna pay ridiculous amounts of $$ to wear a brand logo that covers almost the entire article of clothing?
My mistake! Thanks for the info! The suits are still hott and I still want one though :) haha. At least the designs still look like Ed Hardy tat work.

Actually, it's Christian Ginutti, AKA Christian Audigier who is doing that.
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Christian_Audigier

Ed Hardy is the brand name that was named after Don Ed Hardy, who happens to be a tattoo artist whose work the Ed Hardy brand is named after.
Christian Audigier is the fashoin designer who owns the brand, and came up with the idea.

Personally, I don't like the guy. He's responsible for the Von Dutch clothing line.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kenny_Howard
Von Dutch was an "outlaw artist" from the days of old, and he was very anti-establishment.
Von Dutch died years before the clothing line named after him came out, and would probably kick Christian's ass if he were alive today for using his namesake.

I have no idea how Don Ed Hardy got involved, he must have been broke.

Here's a great quote from Kenny Howard, AKA Von Dutch.

"I make a point of staying right at the edge of poverty. I don't have a pair of pants without a hole in them, and the only pair of boots I have are on my feet. I don't mess around with unnecessary stuff, so I don't need much money. I believe it's meant to be that way. There's a 'struggle' you have to go through, and if you make a lot of money it doesn't make the 'struggle' go away. It just makes it more complicated. If you keep poor, the struggle is simple."
