Coyotes are pests. Every time I see one I pull out whichever gun I have with me at the time and attempt to shoot it. I say grab your guns and start shooting at Coyotes if you are in an area where it is legal to do so. There is no shortage of them and it is great fun. When you get one, you can skin it, tan the hide and have a nice pelt by which to remember your experience. Before you call me an uneducated hayseed I'll inform you that I currently hold BS and MS degrees in Marketing and Business Administration. Nice try....

I'll tell you this much.... anyone who ventures even one foot into a national forest or wilderness area and does not bring a firearm with him/her needs to have his/her head examined. Furthermore, I consider him/her to be mentally disabled if they bring a child along with them without bringing a firearm as well. Children need to be protected - this is reality. Our forefathers NEVER ventured far without their firearms, and wouldn't be caught in or near the wilderness without one.
