Why Do Ghosts Wear Clothes?

One of the most glaring flaws in the argument in favor of the existence of spirits, ghosts, etc, is that in the majority of sightings of full body apparition-type ghosts, the ghosts are wearing clothes. If ghosts are indeed the energy of soul of departed humans, why wouldn’t they just be naked? About.com’s Stephen Wagner posed this question to a few paranormal researcher, and got some pretty good, if somewhat vague, answers:
This could be a totally unconscious effect of the energy on the living person, or it could be a manipulation on the part of the spirit itself, perhaps causing the person to see what it wants them to. To understand this, I suggest that you close your eyes for a moment and then visualize yourself in your mind. How do you appear to yourself? Most likely, you were wearing clothing in your imagination. With the idea that a ghost appears looking in the same way that he sees himself, this might explain why so many ghosts that are seen are not only wearing clothing
Hmmm. And if you’re wondering, the picture above is apparently the ghost of Jim Morrison, taken at his grave in the Pere Lachaise Cemetery in Paris.

This Morrison ghost photo is by that idiot Brett Meisner the self-proclaimed “Rock n’ Roll Bad Boy.” He’s a untalented hack, really. He claims when he got home and viewed the photo taken by Morrison’s grave he was astonished to see Morrison’s ghost. Why then, if the subject of the photo was Meisner, is he so terribly off-center in the photo? Sure seems staged to me! You’ve get to check out this knucklehead’s web page and you tube video…it’s hysterical and a little frightening, as this guy is clearly a legend in his own mind.
Ghost were clothes because when they die how ever they died or were they died or what they were wearing when they died they realive it somtimes. like if a ghost died in a milatary uniform they will walk around in the uniform because they cant change clothes and the only sprits that can bascly chang clothes or demands.
I UNDERSTAND THAT WE ARE JUST FLESH AND WHEN WE DIE WE BECOME SPIRITS BUT HOW DO OUR CLOTHES BECOME SPIRITS WHAT THEY DIED TOO I DONT THINK SOOOOOOO… THIS IS CRAP FULL LOADED CRAP
some people have a stronger spiritual connection idky but i see hear smell and FEEL them they exist theyre everywhere when I staererted seeing them i was scared to even tell my husbnd cuz i thought i was just crazy… for real but i cant help it they are there some will never see it or feel it even my friends that dont have this know im not crazy or making it up i have nothin to gain from it except an awkward feeling all the time i promise they are there believe if you want open your mind some blessed be
ghost are the an imprit of the former person ….it is the energy that remains behind ..the reason why they wear clothes or even appear to look like the person ..is purely to have the person they are trying to communicate with, recognize them ..if they all appeared to be just a mass of energy then it would be harder for the individual to recognize them ….they tend to appear looking the age they died for this exact reason also ….annother point i tend to be asked is why do some ghosts can be seen and not herd and why some can be herd and not seen and also why some can move objects and others cant ..and why some can enter our dreams to give warnings..its simple not all ghost have mastered the same way of communication some of there energies may not be strong enough to move an object or to be seen etc ..so it all depends on the individual spirit…take this from someone who can see hear speak feel and and incounter ghost during a dream ..and i kno this because i have 2 dead brothers whom both stay with me and both have different ways to communicate …there names are timothy and cody ..timothy can talk and can move different items ….and can use a pendulum to answer yes no questions and can open and close doos ..i have only ever seen him once…as has my mother….cody on the other hand has the ability to give a shimmer across wen he is moving ..it looks like that particular spot is shaking but the spot next to it isnt ..he can also play norts and crosses via getting hold of a pen and moving it (while we use our hand to support it) but he cannot move items or open and close doors ..he can play with ur hands and feet but cannot speak directly to you he needs a medium like the spirit writing to do so ….so i hope that has cleared up peoples questions =)

For one this “ghost” in the pic sure does look like Micheal Jackson….in the trade outfit of his black jeans and white shirt….standing the same pose with the head tilted the same way….Also, to the question why do ghost wear clothes….usually the ones that wear clothes is a residual haunting. It’s like a video..it repeats its self over and over again of things that happen in life and we usually wear clothes most of of lives that we awake…other than bathing, sex or well…if we want to really. I expect what I am trying to say is that spirit forms, mists and such may not be residual
normally people who died usally tend to wear what they died in depending on how they died an if they had a strong connection to the person they are showing them self to it for that exact reason they are kentic energy normally means they have either not crossed over (means they havent stood for judgement or got scared an didnt want to or they never made it to pergatory) wich means they stuck here on earth an yeah what u think the holy spirit is a spirt.everyone has thre own feelin an also there own beleave but unless u have encounter one,reallly cant judge anyone that has seen one or dealt with one. oh the bible say thy shelt not judge thy fello man for bible thumpers those who dont beleave well probly why u feel like your in hell already normally that probly means thats were your heading . basically the skimmy of it is based on beleave an personal encounters…
