Woman Stuck on Toilet for Two Years

According to a report from the Associated Press, a 35-year-old Kansas woman named Pam Babcock was pried from the toilet seat of her boyfriend’s bathroom after spending nearly two years there. Shockingly, her sojourn in the lavatory was one of choice and not forcible imprisonment according to her boyfriend Kory McFarren:
“It just kind of happened one day. She went in and had been in there a little while, the next time it was a little longer. Then she got it in her head she was going to stay — like it was a safe place for her.”
During Babcock’s stay in the bathroom her boyfriend brought her food and clothes and they even engaged in conversation. It was seemingly a normal relationship (except for the whole kidnapper dynamic). On February 27th McFarren finally got a clue that something might be amiss and called the police to report that there was something “wrong” with his girlfriend. When authorities arrived however, Babcock was unwilling to cooperate:
It appeared the 35-year-old Ness City woman’s skin had grown around the seat, said Ness County Sheriff Bryan Whipple. The woman initially refused emergency medical services but was finally convinced by responders and her boyfriend that she needed to be checked out at a hospital.
“We pried the toilet seat off with a pry bar and the seat went with her to the hospital,” Whipple said. “The hospital removed it.”
It is currently unclear whether any charges will be brought against McFarren. He says he wasn’t forcing her to stay, and she didn’t want to leave, so I don’t see how he can really be charged with anything, except maybe negligent stupidity for not recognizing the problem sooner. My only question now is what did that bathroom look like? There had to be some form of entertainment in there, otherwise the lady would’ve gone crazy. Unless of course she was already crazy to begin with…

Okay–I think the bigger questions are:
1) Where did Mr. Neglect use the bathroom? Even double-wides only have one crapper…right?
2) Where did he shower? In there with her?
Is this story honestly true? Or a hoax, or someone being ignorant enough to beat a world record ?
I am just so totally blown away with even the thoughts of it, and even seeing a similar such thing on the TV show “Nip Tuck” was bad enough, but good gawd this has to top just about everything anyone has or would ever attempt to perceive by imagination.
I ? might ? would possibly think a tad bit different if the two of them would be mentally challenged, but even with that disability I cannot believe for one second that those two people has had absolutely no contact with anyone for two solid years unless they were simply stranded on a far off planet that has as of yet to be discovered.
But I will say though that the two of them are MOST DEFINITELY and fully deserving of the all time, life time award that far exceeds any award EVER received on the face of the earth ” Mr and Miss Down Right Nothing More Than Pure STUPID ” and they compliment each other to the highest, something they should be so proud of. Also second and third place goes to anyone who has had any form of contact with during the time they worked so hard to receive this great reward
I am looking forward and can’t wait to hear from them, I so want to know what their next goal will be, and what award they will be working so diligently to receive.
Good luck and I feel so sorry for all who had to deal with their stupidity.
Intersting point about the double-wide have only one toilet.
They are thinking of charging the boyfriend. They should charge the girl with trespassing.
The boyfriend is an enabler. All he had to do was to stop feeding her. She would eventually get up. He is about as bizarre as she is. They were made for each other. They ought to make a movie. It would be a love story, and it would involve only one set.

really, it is a stupid story & none of it makes any sense whatsoever!
I think people are bored with their lives & will do & make up anything just to get noticed & maybe even be put on T.V!!
