As previously stated on this blog’s hallowed pages, Eugene S. Robinson is pretty much a bad ass. Synthesis writer/editor Ryan Prado (who throws a killer curve ball, by the way) got the chance to pick Robinson’s brain about his new book, art and other things that sum up the human condition. Here’s a sample:
“If there are any in the audiences who believe that they are larger than the art — not even our art…just art — I will do my level best to disabuse them of the soundness of this notion,” expresses Robinson. “This is what our performances do: bear the standards of the creative impulse; Eros.”
