So one of the more criminally underrated weenie rock bands of the last couple of years, Down to Earth Approach, has finally called it a day. Frontman Jonathan Lally, posted the following on Myspace:

As much as I hate to have to say this, DTEA is going to be breaking up after our current tour. We will have a final show on September 29th in our hometown of Batavia. Thank you so much to everyone who believed in us and supported us in any way. We’ve had an amazing run that we won’t ever forget.

Their second album wasn’t really all that tight, but their first record is seriously some real shit. Later DTEA dudes, thanks for the emo.
