A couple more nails have been pounded into the coffin of late-90s/early 00s mall emo, with the recent announcements that both Thursday and New Found Glory, arguably the mainstream poster children for their respective subgenres, have “parted ways” (aka dropped) by their major labels, shocking exactly nobody.On the bright side, at least MxPx are finally back on Tooth & Nail. If Life in General isn’t in your top 10 albums of all time, you probably will never be my girlfriend or even casual sex partner. Sorry.
