Masala Chocolates is a line of high-end Belgian chocolates infused with exotic spices. The line features creations with Indian flavors like garam masala, coconut-lime chutney and roasted sesame seeds, but many of the company’s confections are proprietary blends
– blueberries with orange essence and lavender buds, pomegranate with orange blossoms, genuine rose petals, and ground cardamom, for example. Self-taught chocolatier Laila S. Nabulsi has exclusively created all of the recipes.

This week Masala Chocolates announces their special line of confections for the Easter holiday. Masala Chocolates Cosmic Eggs will retail at approximately $25.00 and will feature both milk and dark chocolate hand decorated Easter eggs filled with creams and ganaches. The packaging will feature a gold bottom box with a clear top, tied with an attractive satin ribbon.

Masala Chocolates Bunnies and Carrots will retail at approximately $15.00 and will include bite sized milk chocolate rabbits, hand decorated with edible sparkle powder accompanied with small bite sized chocolate carrots made from colored white chocolate. The carrots will contain crispy rice for a crunchy texture. These confections will be packaged in a mango colored box with a small satin ribbon.

All of the products are handmade, using the finest quality Belgian chocolate no additives, no stabilizers, and no eggs — and Nabulsi’s proprietary blends of spices. As with all high quality, hand made chocolates that are free of preservative, these confections should be enjoyed within 14 days of delivery. If they will not be consumed right away they should be carefully wrapped and refrigerated until such time as they are ready to be tasted.
Once refrigerated the chocolates should be slowly brought back to room temperature before consumption so that they achieve their full range of flavor again.

In addition to the special gift collections, Masala Chocolates consists of seven distinctive lines that are always available, including the Main Collection, Ladies Collection, Gentleman’s Collection, Rainbow Veranda (Children’s Collection), Festival Collection, Devi Collection, Hot Cocoa and the Sugar-Free Collection.
