If you’re into shit like Rogue Wave or Pedro the Lion, you will definitely be feeling Surrogate, the new solo project from former Numberonegun guitarist Chris Keene. Keene is currently writing songs for the band’s debut on Tooth & Nail, which will feature NOG drummer Jordan Mallory, and possibly a few other helping hands (the band’s live line-up includes former Sherwood guitarist Chris Armstrong, bassist Trevor Sellers from Waking Ashland and Numberonegun, and Daniel Martin from Cair Paravel). Check out the Myspace for some demos. This shit is legit. And the best song isn’t even up there yet. Mark my word, this shit is going to be hot in ‘08.
