Detroit MC/producer Black Milk is gearing up to make huge waves in the coming months. Responsible for producing joints for Slum Village, Proof and every other dope rapper from the D, Black Milk stepped out on his own in 2005 with his debut Sound Of The City. His follow-up, Popular Demand is set to drop March 13th through Fat Beats, and in my premature opinion will be one of the years best. I haven’t pressed rewind on an album this much in a minute, and I’m confident the general public will hear/feel the same.
