Swamp Donkey says: Christmas Is For Me

Oh its my favorite time of year. A joyful aura surrounds everyone from the Salvation Army Bell Ringers who generously collect donations for the needy to the holiday shoppers who embrace the giving season and somehow find a way to buy the best gift possible for their special someone. In this day in age, people across the world know its time to embrace the peace, to celebrate health, time to enjoy their family and appreciate their friends. But I am looking beyond this merry season and doing something even more worth while, making the most important person happy, myself.

Now some would call it exploiting the season, but really in the bigger picture, by furthering myself in this world I am in a better position to give back to the community during the holidays. One perfect example is the situation of Miss USA, Tara Conner helping bring the spotlight back to the Miss USA pageant through the latest and greatest publicity engine, bad press. Bad press isn’t really bad press, since everyone has gone through at least one these situations in their lifetime. These actions are very forgivable in the long run. Everyone knows that the media covers a juicy scandal way before they cover something good a person does, no matter how good it is.

The formula I am following will be that of Miss Nevada Katie Rees. Jumping at the chance, Miss USA contestant Katie Rees (Miss Nevada) capitalized on the spotlight press has been giving to Miss USA pageant’s scandal by leaking pictures of her own. She will get remembered, recognized and probably get some job offers and paid television appearances. And of course she will get forgiven, because after all, who couldn’t forgive an ass like that.

Now, what I have to do next, is think of my scandal. Of course it will be completely different than those previously mentioned, but it will most definitely follow the same formula. Feel free to leave a comment and help me with some scandal ideas.
