Wet Hot San Francisco Weekend

This past weekend I had the lovely opportunity to spend my life’s savings in beautiful San Francisco.

On Friday night my friends at over Mesh Magazine hosted a party at the Rickshaw Stop. Some spock hippie Zeppelin-jocking neo-ravers called Lemonade played and were definitely on some shit ( FYI: RAVE IS BACK). Other than that it was just cred Dj shit like Trackademicks and a bunch of fools cutting some shit on the dance floor.

On Saturday I walked off my Ancient Age hangover and recuperated by eating some shit at Burma Superstar. Real Talk. The Beef Curry makes my dick weep. Then rolled to the Betheriottt Festival over at the Bill Graham Auditorium, which was pretty much the fucking deadest place I’ve ever been in my life. The only thing that was crunk about it was finally seeing Explosions in the Sky, who fucking PWNED.

The real shit was happening up the road at Arrow Bar, at the weekly installment of Frisco Disco, where coke head bohos and trust fund hipsters mix with broke asses and scene tourists to create a giant sweaty mass of undulation. And things were even more mainey than usual because The Rapture, who had also played at the aforementioned festival, were supposedly the guest DJs

Once again, the womenfolk danced while I watched and drank a few Budweiser beers. The sign above the door said “Capacity 49″ but there were a good 100-200 people stacked up in that bitch. It may have smelled like piss, but that’s the price you pay for glory. Steve Aoki showed up and a bunch of other folks who were way cooler than me. Good times were had by all. Although I may be broke, and 10 pounds fatter from Beef Curry and La Coroneta and Ancient Age Whiskey, I nevertheless stacked exactly 908,988,089 cred points. And in the end, that’s all that really matters.
