From HITS:
VICTORY VICTORIOUS UPDATE: Hawthorne Heights' suit against Victory Records has been dismissed by Judge Milton Shadur of the U.S. District Court in Chicago, calling its claim to terminate its agreement with the label (absurd.â€? The court issued an order dismissing the suit and allowing Victory to continue to distribute the two albums currently on the label and to release the two additional full-length albums owed to them by the band under the existing deal. Said a rep for the band: “We disagree with Victory’s characterization of the Court’s ruling, and we remain confident in our claims against Victory and Tony Brummel. We expect to prevail when all is said and done.” (10/20p)

Hmm…I’m not sure how to respond to this….I somewhat agree with the court’s ruling..but i love hh to death! so its kinda a toss up…crazy
ok so all i really have to say about this is that it’s all really stupid. I did read everything HH had to say about Victory Records/Tony Brummel, and you know it really reminded me of when N Sync split from their manager (yes, i know, boy bands suck…), and it just further proves the point i brought up months ago when i compared Hawthorne Heights to N Sync. They’re an ok band and all, but they just remind me of a boy band that actually plays instruments. I do hope the best for them and that all of this craziness gets straightened out..but just saying, take a few minutes to think about HH compared to N Sync…
this is crazy! hawthorne heights should be grateful someone is still making their c.d’s. after getting bored with “if only you were lonely” after a week, and definately dissapointed that it wasn’t as good, they are lucky that fans like me continue to buy their stuff. there are a million other bands out there who would tough it out just so they could keep on, but nooo, they have to be big emo pussies and cry about it.that really grinds my gears!-family guy.
Man thats fucked up seems like they should just break up and come back as a diffrent band with a diffrent name so that way they can get out of their contracts. I’m not a fan but good luck to them none the less.
