So everyone knows that Entourage as a show, sucks… If it weren’t for Jeremy Piven and Debbi Mazar, the should would be completely worthless… But I found this interesting story on The Movie Blog… and damn, Hollywood MUST be running out of ideas if they are going to TV shows for movie pitches…

Aquaman

Let’s try to get this cyclical loopfuck under control… Mark Wahlberg started his entertainment career as the badboy kid brother of NKOTB’s Donnie Wahlberg… He then went on to front his own hip-pop band, Marky Mark and the Funky Bunch… Then he made under-buff guys self-conscious with his Calvin Klein underwear ads… Then he went on to make a few good/some bad movies… Then he went on to write a HBO pilot about his own life in the media and call it Entourage… Entourage, strangely, becomes a hit show, despite its awful story lines and non-verisimilitude…  One plot involves James Cameron fictionally signing on board to direct the big screen adaptation of DC Comic’s Aquaman… The main character of the show, Vinnie Chase (again, based on Mark Wahlberg), gets the part… Meanwhile, in the real world, James Cameron decides that, “Hey, that’s not such a bad idea… Let’s adapt Aquaman.”  And who does he cast?  The real life “Vinnie Chase” - Mark Wahlberg.

Huh?
